profit on a product A costing Rs. 160. If the overall profit on selling two products is 20%, then what will be the profit percentage on the other product B costing Rs. 200?
A 35% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 24.8% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 14.4% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 27% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E 28.5% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Cost Price of A = Rs. 160
      Cost Price of B = Rs. 200
      Profit on A = 0.14 × 160 = Rs. 22.4
      Overall profit = 0.20 × 360 = Rs. 72
      Profit on B = 72 – 22.4 = Rs. 49.6
      Profit percentage = 49.6/200 × 100 = 24.8 %
