Let the MRP of cycle is 6x. ∴ Discount = 20/ 3% of 6x = 0.4x ∴ Rishabh bought this cycle for 5.6x. He earns 2.8x by renting it and resells it at 3x. ATQ, 3x + 2.8x – 5.6x = 100 0.2x = 100 ⇒ x = 500 ∴ MRP = 6x = 6 × 500 = Rs. 3000
