    Let the number of bad apples = x Cost price of 360 apples = 800 Selling price (360 - x) apples = 4.5 × (360 - x ) = 1620 – 4.5 x According to the question, 1620 – 4.5 x – 800 = 739 4.5 x = 81 x = 18 Required percent = 18/360 × 100 = 5%
