Old players' ages: 20 + 21 = 41 Avg. increase = 2 months = 1/6 year Total increase = 11 × 1/6 = 11/6 New players' total age = 41 + 11/6 = 257/6 Average = (257/6) ÷ 2 = 257/12 = 21 (5/12) years
