      B ₹27,500 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      C ₹30,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      D ₹28,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Savings = 6,600 House rent = 20% of income Household expenditure = 50% of remaining Children's education = 20% of remaining   Remaining after house rent = 0.80x Total expenditure from remaining = 0.50 x 0.80x +0.20 × 0.80x = 0.56x   Savings=0.80x- 0.56x = 0.24x 4. Given savings: 0.24x =6,600 x =6600/0.24 =27500
