Let us consider the time of the journey be t hrs., As we know, the distance is the same. According to the question 45 (t + 5/60) = 60 (t-4/60) 3 (t + 5/60) = 4 (t-4/60) 3t + 15/60 = 4t-16/60 4t-3t=15/60 + 16/60 t = 31/60 Distance = speed x time Distance = 45 × (31/60 + 5/60) = 45 x 36/60 = 27 km
