Let the chair =x and table =y  3x +2y=700             … (1) ×5 5x+3y =1100            … (2) ×3 15x+10y =3500        … (3) 15x +9y =3300         … (4) Equation (4)-(3). Y =200. X =100. So now- The cost price of 1 chair and 2 tables- =100+2×200=500Rs.
