    According to the questions, The highest three-digit number = 999 L. C. M of  3, 5 and 9 = 135 999 ÷  135  Remainder = 54 So, The greatest number divisible by 3, 5 and 9  = 999 – 54 = 945 The required number that will leave the remainder 2 945 + 2 = 947 ∴ The highest three-digit number is 947.
