    Let the first & second parts be p & q respectively. According to the question,  (1/5) of first : (1/8) second = 3 : 4 ⇒ (p/5) : (q/8) = 3/4 By using the  above concept, ⇒ 8p/5q = 3/4 ⇒  p/q = 15/32 = k (Let) ⇒ p = 15k, q = 32k Since, first part + second part = 94 ⇒ 15k + 32k = 94 47k = 94 or k = 2  Hence, p = 15k = 30 ∴ The first part is 30.
