B Rs. 35500 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs. 30000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 45000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Let the income of the man be Rs. x Therefore, sum donated to NGO β€˜A’ = Rs. 0.20x Sum left with NGO β€˜A’ = 0.25 Γ— 0.20x = Rs. 0.05x Sum donated to NGO β€˜B’ = Rs. 0.15x Sum left with NGO β€˜B’ = 0.2 Γ— 0.15x = Rs. 0.03x Sum donated to NGO β€˜C’ = Rs. 0.24x Sum left with NGO β€˜C’ = 0.5 Γ— 0.24x = Rs. 0.12x According to the question, 0.05x + 0.03x + 0.12x = 6000 Or, 0.2x = 6000 Or, x = 6000/0.2 = 30000 Therefore, income of man = Rs. 30000
