Let the income of the person be Rs. x.
Amount spent on rent = 0.12x = Rs. 4,800
Total income = 4,800 ÷ 0.12 = Rs. 40,000
Amount spent on entertainment = 0.20 × (0.88x) = 0.176x = 40,000 × 0.176 = Rs. 7,040
