Let the amount received by B be Rs.P. Therefore, amount received by A = 1.40 x P = Rs.1.4P According to the question, => (P + 1.4P) = 4500 x 0.8 => 2.4P = 3600 => P = 1500 Share of A = 3600 β 1500 = Rs.2100 So, 3X = 2100 => X = 700 Required value = [(X/7) + 21] = 100 + 21 = 121
