    Let the marks obtained by B be ‘x’. So, marks obtained by A = 1.25x According to question, (1.25x – x) + 122 = 200 0.25x = 200 - 122 0.25x = 78 x = 78/0.25 x = 312 Therefore, marks obtained by A = 1.25 × 312 = 390 marks
