A 45000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 77850 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 96000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 85000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Profit is divided in the ratio of (capital × time). Ravi: 24,000 for 12 months → 24,000 × 12 = 2,88,000 Sohan: 36,000 for 12 months → 36,000 × 12 = 4,32,000 Tanu: 48,000 for (12 − 4) = 8 months → 48,000 × 8 = 3,84,000 Ratio R : S : T = 2,88,000 : 4,32,000 : 3,84,000 Divide all by 48,000: R : S : T = 6 : 9 : 8 Sum of ratio = 6 + 9 + 8 = 23 Tanu’s share = (8/23) × 2,76,000 2,76,000 ÷ 23 = 12,000 So Tanu’s share = 8 × 12,000 = 96,000
