Ratio of profit share of A and B respectively:
= [(P + 1500) × 12] : [2P × 6]
= (P + 1500) × 12 : 12P
= (P + 1500) : P
ATQ;
(P + 1500) : P = 7 : 6
Or, P + 1500 = (7/6)P
Or, 6P + 9000 = 7P
Or, P = 9000
Required value = 9000 − 500 = 8500
