Solution
Ratio of investments R : S : T = 2500 : 5000 : x Profit share ratio = (2500 × 12) : (5000 × 12) : (x × 4) = 30000 : 60000 : 4x = 7500 : 15000 : x So, [15000 / (7500 + 15000 + x)] = 1350/2700 => 15000 / (22500 + x) = 1/2 => 30000 = 22500 + x => x = 7500 So, the value of ‘x’ is Rs. 7500
