Investments ratio M : N : O = 2800 : 4200 : x Profit share ratio = (2800 × 12) : (4200 × 12) : (x × 6) = 33600 : 50400 : 6x = 5600 : 8400 : x So, [5600 / (5600 + 8400 + x)] = 450/1800 => 5600 / (14000 + x) = 1/4 => 22400 = 14000 + x => x = 8400 So, the value of ‘x’ is Rs. 8400
