Arvind started a business with a capital of Rs. 4000. After 3 months, Shruti joined him with a capital which is 10% more than Arvind’s capital. Find the profit share of Shruti out of the total profit of Rs. 1200 at the end of one year.

According to the question Ratio of profit share of Arvind and Shruti = 4000 × 12 : 4400 × 9 = 5 : 3 Profit share of Shruti = 1200 × 3 / 8 = Rs. 450
