Question
Amit started a business with Rs. 10000. After 8 months, Neha joined him with a capital that is 50% more than Amit’s. Find Neha’s share of the total profit of Rs. 6000 at the end of the year.
Solution
According to the question, Ratio of profit share of Amit and Neha = 10000 × 12 : (10000 × 1.50) × 4 = 10000 × 12 : 15000 × 4 = 3:2 Profit share of Neha = 6000 × 2/5 = Rs. 2400
