    Ratio of the investments of ‘P’, ‘Q’, and ‘R’ = 24000:28000:32000 = 3:3.5:4 = 6:7:8 (by multiplying each term by 2 to eliminate the decimal). Amount to be divided among them = Rs. {80000 × (100 - s)/100}. According to the question, {80000 × (100 - s)/100} × 7/21 = 20000, Or, 100 – s = 20000 × 100 × 21/7 × 1/80000, Or, 100 – s = 75, Or, s = 25.
