      Solution

      P invested her capital for 12 months, Q for 10 months and R for 4 months. So, ratio of their capitals = (16000 × 12):(24000 × 10):(30000 × 4) ⇒  192000 : 240000 : 120000 ⇒  8 : 10 : 5 Therefore, R’s share = 4600 x (5/23) = Rs.1000
