ratio of  2/3, 3/2, 3/4 in a business. After 4 months Chintu increased his capital by 25%. If the total profit of Rs. 6540 earned at the end of the year, find what was the Chintu’s Share of profit?Solution
Multiply Ratios by (3, 2, 4 LCM) i.e., 12x Capital Ratio -    2/3  ×12x    :   3/2 ×12x   :     3/4× 12x                8x     :      18x    :     9x Total Capital of Chintu in 1 year = 8x × 4 + 125/100  ×8x ×8 = 32x+ 80x= 112x Total Capital of Pintu in 1 year = 18x × 12 = 216x Total Capital of Bittoo in 1year = 9x × 12 = 108x Now, 
According to the question 112x + 216x + 108x = 6540 436 x = 6540 x = (6540 )/436 = 15 Hence, Share of Chintu = 15 × 112 = 1680 Â
