C 4:9 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 13:12 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

      Initial quantity of milk = (3/5) Γ— 80 = 48 litres

      Initial quantity of water = (2/5) Γ— 80 = 32 litres

      Final quantity of milk = 48 - (3/5) Γ— 40 = 24 litres

      Final quantity of water = 32 - (2/5) Γ— 40 + 10 = 26 litres

      Required ratio = 26 : 24 = 13 : 12
