2(L + B) = 50 So L+ B = 25 ------(1) & L = 4B ------(2) Putting 2nd equation in 1st ; we will get So 4B + B = 25 So 5B = 25 or B = 5 cm So L = 4 × B = 4 × 5 = 20 cm So area of the rectangle = L× B = 5 × 20 = 100 cm²
