      Solution

      2(L + B) = 40 So L+ B = 20 ------(1) & L = 4B ------(2) Putting 2nd equation in 1st ; we will get So 4B + B = 20 So 5B = 20 or B = 4 cm So L = 4 × B = 4 × 4 = 16 cm So area of the rectangle = L× B = 16 × 4 = 64 cm²
