ATQ, Area to be painted = lateral surface area + area of base = 2 × (length + breadth) × height + length × breadth = 2 × (20 + 14) × 12 + 20 × 14 = 2 × 34 × 12 + 280 = 816 + 280 = 1,096 cm² Required cost = 1,096 × 5 = Rs. 5,480
