    Question

Find the height of a cone if its radius is 14 cm and curved

    surface area is 1320 cm².
A 12 cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 36 cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 26 cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 15 cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Let slant height of the cone be ‘l’ cm

    So, (22/7) × 14 × l = 1320

    Or, l = 30 cm

    So, height of the cone (h) = √{30² – 14²} = 26 cm
