So, the area of the rectangular field = l × b = 800 l = 800/b Perimeter of the rectangular field = 2(l + b) = 104 l + b = 52 800/b + b = 52 800 + b² = 52b b² – 52b + 800 = 0 b² – 40b – 12b + 800 = 0 b(b – 40) – 12(b – 40) = 0 (b – 12)(b – 40) = 0 b = 40, 12 b = 12 m and l = 40 m as length is greater than breadth So, the desired percentage = {(40 – 12)/40} × 100 = 70%
