      Let the breadth of a rectangle = x cm And the length of a rectangle = 2x cm According to the question, => (2x – 6) (x + 6) – 2x x x = 84 => 2x2 + 12x – 6x – 36 – 2x2 = 84 => 6x = 120 => x = 20 Breadth of the rectangle is  = x = 20 cm
