Solution

Surface area of the entire wall = length × height = 28 × 23 = 644 m2 Surface area of the window = sum of surface area of the square part + surface area of the triangular part => 82 + (1/2) × 8 × 5 => 64 + 20 = 84 m2 Required surface area = 644 – 84 = 560 m2
