    Using the formula, Area of the triangle = 1/2 x base x height  ⇒ 1/2 x 18 x 12 = 108 cm2 According to the question Area of the another (second) triangle = 2 × 108 = 216 cm2 Area of the new triangle =1/2 x base x height 216 = 1/2 x 24 x height Therefore, height = (216 x 2)/24 = 18 cm
