24 = 2³ × 3 36 = 2² × 3² And 90 = 2 × 3² × 5 So, HCF = 2 × 3 = 6 So, sum of digits of HCF = 6 = 6 And LCM = 2³ × 3² × 5 = 360 And sum of digits of LCM = 3 + 6 + 0 = 9 So, required difference = 9 - 6 = 3 Hence, option a.
