Question
If in a ΔABC, D is a point on BC such that BD = 5cm , BC = 8 cm then what is ratio of area of ΔABD to area of ΔADC ?
Solution
CD = BC - BD = 8 - 5 = 3 cm So Area of ΔABD / Area of ΔADC = BD/CD = 5/3
