Read the following information carefully and answer the following questions: There are four apartments P, Q, R and S in Hill View Society. The given table shows the percentage distribution of flats in each of the apartments out of the total number of flats in all the apartments and the percentage by which 2 BHK flats are less than the 1 BHK flats in each apartment. Note: Average number of flats in all four apartments is 125. There are only two types of flats i.e. 1 BHK and 2 BHK.Solution
Total number of flats in all four apartments = 500 Now, (A + 3A + 3A – 5 + 4A – 5)% = 100% => (11A – 10)% = 100% => A = 10% 
Number of 1 BHK flats in apartment T = (118/100) x 100 = 118 Number of 2 BHK flats in apartment T = (80/100) x 50 = 40 Total number of flats in apartment T = 118 + 40 = 158 Â
