    Solution

    Let speed of downstream and speed of stream be 7x and 2x respectively. Speed of current => 2x = 6 => x = 3 km/hr Downstream speed = 7 × 3 = 21 km/h Speed of boat = 21 - 3 = 18 km/hr Upstream speed = 18 - 3 = 15 km/h Distance travelled upstream in 5 hr = Speed × Time => 15 × 5 = 75 km
