of 40 of them is 16 years and the average age of another 30 of them is 14 years. Find the average age of the remaining players.Solution
Given, sum of age of 90 players = 1800 years
Sum of age of 40 players = 40 × 16 = 640 years
Sum of age of another 30 players = 30 × 14 = 420 years
Remaining number of players = 90 – 40 – 30 = 20
Average age of remaining 20 players = {(1800 – 640 – 420)/20} = (740/20) = 37 years
