such that they are in the ratio 3:5 respectively. Another number ‘M’ is 120 more than ‘L’ and fourth number ‘N’ is 25% of the ‘K’. Find the average of ‘M’ and ‘N’.
A 395 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 400 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 405 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 410 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Sum of ‘K’ and ‘L’ = 480 × 2 = 960
    Therefore,
    ‘K’ = 960 × (3/8) = 360
    ‘L’ = 960 – 360 = 600
    ‘M’ = 600 + 120 = 720
    ‘N’ = 0.25 × 360 = 90
    Required average = {(720 + 90)/2} = 405
