C Rs. 6,050 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 1,025 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

      Sum of incomes of P, Q and R = 12500 Γ— 3 = Rs. 37,500

      Income of P = 37500 Γ— (6/25) = Rs. 9,000

      Income of Q = 37500 Γ— (9/25) = Rs. 13,500

      Income of R = 37500 Γ— (10/25) = Rs. 15,000

      Expense of P = 9000 Γ— 0.6 = Rs. 5,400

      Expense of Q = 13500 Γ— 0.5 = Rs. 6,750

      Expense of R = 15000 Γ— 0.4 = Rs. 6,000

      Therefore, required average = (5400 + 6750 + 6000) Γ· 3 = Rs. 6,050
