    Let the average age of 6 employees in a company = x When a new employee is added then, total weight of all the employees = 7 × (x+2) = 7x+14 Weight of new employee = 7x+14-6x = x+14 According to question- x+(x+14) = 38        2x = 24 x = 12 Weight of new employee = x+14 = 12+14 = 26 years
