    Solution

    As men and women are equal so , there are 4 women and 4 men so, total consumption will be 50 × 4 = 200 (by men) and 25 × 4 = 100 (by women)
    Total consumption = 300 kg
    But after including a woman the average consumption for 9 people is given to be 40.
    So the total consumption will be 40 × 9 = 360 kg
    So, woman’s consumption will be = 360 – 300 = 60 kg
