    Let the present age of Nitin = y years

    Then, present age of Sumit = (60 - y) years

    According to the question,

    (y - 4):(60 - y - 4) = 6:7

    ⇒ 7(y - 4) = 6(56 - y)

    ⇒ 7y - 28 = 336 - 6y

    ⇒ 13y = 364

    ⇒ y = 364 ÷ 13 = 28

    So, present age of Sumit = 60 - 28 = 32 years
