    B 25 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C 10 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D 27 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ,

    Let the present age of A, B and C be β€˜a’, β€˜b’ and β€˜c’ years respectively.

    a – 3 = 1.2 Γ— a – 10

    0.2 Γ— a = 7

    a = 7 / 0.2

    a = 35 years

    So, age of c = 35 Γ— 0.6 = 21 years

    Also, (b + 3)/(c – 1) = 3/2

    b + 3 = 1.5c – 1.5

    b = 1.5 Γ— 21 – 1.5 – 3

    b = 31.5 – 4.5 = 27 years
