    Let present age of ‘A’ be ‘a’ years So, 3(a – 20) = a + 12 Or, 3a – 60 = a + 12 Or, 2a = 72 Or, a = 36 Present age of ‘B’ = 5/4 × {36 + 12} – 12 = 60 – 12 = 48 years Present age of ‘C’ = 38 × 3 – 36 – 48 = 30 years
