    ATQ, The age of ‘C’ 8 years hence and age of ‘D’ 4 years ago, from now be 3x years and x years, respectively. According to the question, 3x - 8 + x + 4 = 68 Or, 4x - 4 = 68 Or, 4x = 72 Or, x = 72 / 4 = 18 years Therefore, present age of ‘C’ = 3x - 8 = 3(18) - 8 = 54 - 8 = 46 years.
