Let’s assume the present age of Pranay is 10y. present age of Raj = (100-10)% of 10y = 90% of 10y = 9y Pranay is two years younger than Queen. 10y = (present age of Queen) - 2 present age of Queen = (10y+2) Ten years ago, the average of the ages of Queen and Raj is 29 years. (10y+2)-10+9y-10 = 29x2 19y-18 = 58 19y = 58+18 = 76 y = 4 If Pranay is 8 years older than Tanu. 10y = (present age of Tanu) + 8  present age of Tanu = (10y-8) Age of Tanu five years ago = (10y-8)-5 = 10y-13 Put the value of ‘y’. = 10x4-13 = 40-13 = 27 years
