Let present age of Beena be 4x years and of Meenal of 5x years. According to the question, => 4x = 5x – 3 => x = 3 Present age of Beena = 4 × 3 = 12 years Present age of Meenal = 5 × 3 = 15 years Now, 6 years hence their ratio of ages, Beena age = 12 + 6 = 18 years Meenal age = 15 + 6 = 21 years Required ratio = 18:21 = 6:7
