As per Section 84 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, when a person against whom a warrant has been issued is absconding or concealing himself, the Court (Judicial Magistrate) may issue a proclamation requiring him to appear at a specified place and time. This replaces Section 82 of the CrPC, 1973.
