·         The Secretariat of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, hosted at FAO headquarters in Rome, provides coordination and liaison across the entire spectrum of Codex activities. ·         The current Secretariat is made up of: ü  6 Food Standards Officers ü  2 Seconded Food Standards Officers from Japan and Republic of Korea ü  1 Information Systems Officer ü  9 Support staff and Consultants for IT, Web & Communications, Document Management and Editing ·         Codex Secretary - Tom Heilandt (Germany)
