Section 15(3) provides that any person suffering direct injury or loss by reason of an order under clause (c) or (d) of Section 15(1) - relating to prohibition/regulation of aerodromes or their compulsory delivery for public service - shall be paid compensation as determined by an authority appointed by the Central Government for that purpose. Section 15(1) empowers the Government, where public safety or tranquillity so requires, to cancel/suspend licences, prohibit/regulate flights, and direct aerodromes or facilities to be delivered for public service. Section 15(4) allows steps to secure compliance, and Section 15(5) criminalises knowing disobedience with imprisonment up to three years, fine, or both, with possible forfeiture.
