      Solution

Section 19A(2), inserted by the 2016 Amendment, provides that any interim or final order passed by the Tribunal or Appellate Tribunal and displayed on its website shall be deemed to be a public notice of such order. Further, transmission of such order by electronic mail to the registered address of the parties to the proceeding shall be deemed to be served on such party. This provision aligns the Act with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and enables paperless, contactless service of orders - an important modernisation. The Tribunal must maintain its own website or a common website and ensure all orders are displayed thereon.
